Bring on the Ukuleles!

I think it's great that the Proms is including the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Heard them on Radio 4's Today Programme the other day.

And the ukulele Prom seemed to go down very well with Times critic Neil Fisher and Guardian critic Tim Ashley. Let us know if you were there and what you thought of hearing more than 1,000 ukuleles playing at once...

It didn't work for me on the night, I wasn't there so I can't speak for the promenaders, I heard most of it (on the night) on the radio and got the impression they were out of their depth and stuggling with the audacity of their performance ... not an easy gig armed with ukes.
