BBC Music Magazine Podcast

Each month here at BBC Music Magazine we receive over 150 new CDs and DVDs. That, of course, adds up to over 1,800 a year – a fierce battleground indeed from which our 11 awe-inspiring winners have emerged. From Bach to Beethoven and Handel to Shostakovich, this year’s Awards have once again showcased some truly outstanding discs from all corners of the repertoire. Last year, we received 38,000 votes online; this year we counted more than 80,000 – so a huge thanks to all of you who took part.
